SMS Messaging & Consent

Wheels2go by ZIPZAP corp rents cars in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. We text our own customers only, and only to open their account, to sign them in, and to keep them informed about a rental they have with us. We never send marketing or promotional text messages, and we never share or sell phone numbers.

1. What we send

• One invitation to register. A single message with a personal, single-use registration link, sent only after the customer has agreed to receive it.
• One-time codes. Our accounts have no passwords. A six-digit code confirms the phone number during registration, and another signs the customer in on every later visit.
• Rental service updates. Booking confirmation, the vehicle assigned to you and where to pick it up, payment status, return reminders, and toll or ticket charges added to your rental.

We do not send promotional offers, newsletters, or third-party advertising of any kind.

2. How we collect consent

Wheels2go is an invitation-only service, so consent is collected in one of two places, both before any message is sent.

A. Before we invite a new customer

A new customer reaches us by phone or in person. Before our office sends anything, our staff asks for permission using this script:

Only after the customer agrees does our office record the number and send the personal registration link. The invitation link is single-use and expires.

B. On our sign-in and registration screens

Every screen that asks for a phone number states the consent terms directly above the button that triggers the message. These pages are open to the public and can be reviewed without an account:

These are the exact messages our system produces, in the order a customer receives them.

4. Frequency, rates, opting out and help

• Frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on your activity. Most customers receive one message per sign-in and a handful per rental.
• Rates. Message and data rates may apply.
• Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop all further text messages. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and nothing after that.
• Help. Reply HELP to any message, call us on +1 718 300 2727, or email Support@wheels2go.nyc.
• Opting back in. Call or email us and we will re-enable messages after confirming your request.

Opting out of text messages does not cancel a rental. We will reach you by phone or email instead.
